The as-built surveys of Solomon Islands two main airports, Honiara International and Munda airports. Existing surveys done originally by the Japanese consultants were tied into by means of control for position and apron levels for height. Additional concreted control was established and fixed by Post Processing GNSS to sub centimeter accuracy. Using these control points all features and levels were surveyed and compared to the original design done from the Japanese survey. Long section profiles were produced as well as as-built drawings for both airfields.
