About
History
Route Geographic Consultants (RGC) is a multi-national organization of geospatial disciplines practising world-wide. RGC emerged from the MnS Group (founded in 1998) and has taken over its survey work. Expanding on its MnS roots, RGC is now opening up exciting new relationships such as with Ordnance Survey International, the Asian Development Bank, United Kingdom Export Finance and accessing large geodetic projects, hydro projects and financing options previously outside of MnS Group’s grasp.

Route Geographic Consultants has two arms:
- Route Geographic Consultants Ltd – based in the UK and operating globally,
- Route Geographic Consultants Swaziland (Pty) Ltd – based in Swaziland and focused on Swaziland and nearby African countries.
RGC offers six key services:

- Chartered land surveys
- Geographic and Land Information Systems, and Asset Tracking with Skills Transfer and Standards

RGC has experience in 36 different African countries, South America, the Pacific Islands and both United Kingdom and continental Europe, encompassing five world regions. Using the latest in survey equipment and techniques, RGC’s highly qualified and skilled staff offer an internationally assured and regulated quality survey service.

RGC has professional affiliations with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (UK) and several other professional bodies world-wide.
B-BBEE (Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment) Level 1
RGC teams up with Inkundki Investments (Pty) Ltd, a B-BBEE Level 1 Survey and Consulting firm based in South Africa and owned by a Director of Route Geographic Consultants Swaziland (Pty) Ltd.
OUR TEAM
Route Geographic Consultants Ltd has a Chartered Land Surveyor at the helm, Martin de Beer. He is joined by long-term ex-MnS Group team members, Sipho Bhembe and Bandile Edwards, and all three are directors of Route Geographic Consultants (Swaziland) Pty Ltd. The Directors are supported by fully qualified field teams with a core team of logistical and professional experts.
Martin de Beer
BSc(Hons) B Survey Nat. Dip. Eng Survey MRICS
Martin is a Chartered Land Surveyor. He started the survey division of MnS Group in 1998 and oversaw and controlled all operations. He has extensive experience in directing land survey across the Africa, South America, Europe and the UK as well as the South Pacific Isles. Utilizing a broad spectrum of techniques to suit the challenges of a project, he is a dedicated professional providing exceptional service with an inspired approach to problem solving. His key strengths are operational experience and client liaison.
The combined and overlapping skill sets of the Directors gives RGC the flexibility and capacity to produce exceptional quality work on any size project.

Sipho Bhembe
Nat. H. Dip Eng. Survey
Sipho is a fully qualified engineering surveyor. He is responsible for all field logistics, data capture and labour and logistics. He is a member of the Eswatini Association of Architects Engineers and Surveyors.
Bandile Edwards
Advanced Diploma in Business and Accounting
BSc Quantity Surveying
Bandile is the Manager of our Eswatini Office. He leads on customer liaison across Eswatini and coordinates all cadastral work, data processing and presentation, including CAD and control. He is qualified under the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and the Quantity Surveying Fraternity
Sipho and Bandile lead on the field operations and data processing respectively.
RGC has professional registration in the United Kingdom and Africa. We have European Union registered staff members with World Bank and African Development Bank approval.
