CAPABILITIES

What We Do

Senior technical and management inputs across the infrastructure project lifecycle.

RGC provides focused technical and management inputs across the infrastructure project lifecycle—from early investigations and procurement readiness through mobilisation, supervision and recovery.

Infrastructure mobilisation and delivery assurance

RGC establishes the practical systems that allow multidisciplinary projects to move from contract award or incomplete design into controlled delivery. Our work includes mobilisation strategies, staffing and responsibility matrices, baseline programmes, deliverable schedules, decision and action registers, reporting arrangements, risk controls and ninety-day implementation plans.

We also undertake independent project health checks, identify the contractual, technical and organisational causes of delay, and develop prioritised recovery plans with clear owners and deadlines.

Road asset management and condition data

We support road authorities and project teams in building reliable information for maintenance and investment decisions. Services include road-network definition, linear referencing, asset inventories, visual-condition surveys, roughness and IRI survey planning, drainage and roadside-asset inventories, field data structures, GIS integration and quality assurance.

Our emphasis is on producing information that can be checked, maintained and transferred into a road asset management system—not simply collecting data that becomes unusable after the survey.

Engineering, cadastral and geodetic surveys

RGC’s survey lineage dates to 1998. We scope, manage and deliver:

  • Engineering and topographic surveys for roads, bridges, airports, water and public infrastructure;
  • GNSS control networks, precision levelling and high-accuracy geodetic observations;
  • Cadastral, right-of-way, servitude and land-acquisition surveys;
  • Bathymetric, drainage and bridge-site investigations;
  • Construction setting-out, monitoring and quantity-support surveys; and
  • Digital terrain models, engineering drawings and machine-readable data handover.

Drone, LiDAR, imagery and geospatial systems

We coordinate aerial capture, ground control, flight and data-quality review, point-cloud processing, terrain modelling, imagery management and GIS delivery. Our role is often to ensure that specialist technology produces defensible engineering information, with documented coordinate systems, metadata, quality checks and usable outputs.

Environmental, social and land-access integration

RGC coordinates the practical integration of environmental, social and land requirements into transport projects. This includes site-specific ESMP and SSESMP preparation or review, screening and risk matrices, consultation planning and records, cadastral and easement review, Land Access Due Diligence Reports, design-input schedules and contractor environmental and social readiness controls.

Where a commission requires specialist ecological, biodiversity, resettlement or livelihood expertise, RGC leads an appropriately qualified multidisciplinary team.

Procurement and implementation readiness

We support terms of reference, scopes, specifications, drawings, schedules, bills of quantities and bidding documents. We identify missing investigations, design interfaces and safeguard or land-access constraints before they become construction problems. Inputs can include tender-query management, evaluation support, procurement schedules and contract-award-to-commencement planning.

Engineer and contract-administration systems

RGC helps establish and operate the controls needed by the Engineer, project manager or implementation unit, including RFIs, notices, instructions, programmes, payment and variation workflows, EOT records, technical-submittal registers, correspondence control and monthly reporting.

Capacity building and short-term specialist inputs

Assignments can be delivered as a defined diagnostic, a focused six-to-sixteen-week input, an interim Team Leader or mobilisation role, or a longer project appointment. We also provide counterpart training, field-team development, survey methodology support and institutional handover.
