Direct senior leadership supported by a flexible network of trusted specialists.

RGC combines direct senior leadership with a flexible associate network.

Martin de Beer — Director and Principal Consultant

LLM (Law), BSc (Hons), B Survey, National Diploma Engineering Survey, MRICS

Martin holds an LLM in Law and is a Chartered Land Surveyor, international infrastructure consultant and professional member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS). He established the survey division of MnS Architects and Surveyors in 1998 and is Director and Principal Consultant of Route Geographic Consultants Limited.

His experience spans project mobilisation and delivery assurance, multidisciplinary infrastructure management, road asset systems, engineering and cadastral survey, geospatial data, environmental and social integration, land access, procurement readiness and Engineer-side project controls. He has led and supported assignments across Africa, the Pacific and Europe, with particularly extensive experience in remote and small-island environments.

Martin’s strength is joining technical detail to delivery reality: understanding what must be measured, designed, approved, procured, documented and controlled for a project to move forward.

Bandile Edwards — Associate

BSc Quantity Surveying; Advanced Diploma in Business and Accounting

Bandile has worked with RGC and its predecessor team for more than 15 years in operational, technical and management capacities. He holds a BSc in Quantity Surveying and an Advanced Diploma in Business and Accounting and is registered with the South African Council for the Quantity Surveying Profession (SACQSP). His experience encompasses client liaison, commercial and tender coordination, quantity, construction, engineering, cadastral and survey administration, CAD/GIS and data-processing management, and the coordination of multi-country assignments.

As an Associate, Bandile supports RGC’s South African and regional capability and contributes local knowledge, commercial coordination and continuity across assignments.

Sipho Bhembe — Associate

National Higher Diploma in Engineering Survey

Sipho is an experienced engineering surveyor with extensive field and operational knowledge. His experience includes field logistics, control and engineering survey, data capture, labour coordination and the practical mobilisation of survey teams in southern African environments.

As an Associate, Sipho supports field delivery, logistics and survey operations according to project requirements.

Specialist associates

RGC assembles assignment-specific teams rather than presenting every discipline as an in-house service. Depending on the commission, the company works with appropriately qualified engineering, environmental, social, geotechnical, architectural, laboratory, survey, GIS and contract specialists.

This model allows RGC to remain personally accountable while matching the team and cost structure to the actual project.
