Detailed design of 60 kilometres of powerline through the Francis Town region. A GPS network was established, centre line placed, topographic mapping 100 metres wide completed and concreted control beacons placed every 200 metres either side. Chose tower positions for metal towers based on set criteria. All survey was tied into existing local datum of control and benchmarks.
