This was a small, but highly accurate, site survey of the Herstmonceux Space Geodesy Facility. Terrestrial and GNSS measurements were taken to obtain sub mm accuracy distances between the fiducial point of the SLR (satellite laser ranging) telescope and the retro reflectors. This involved working up the water tower on which the retro reflectors and IGS point HERT were located. Measurements incorporated the other geodetic points of the IGS point HERS, OS GeoNet point HERO and OS trig pillar SOLAR.

Levelling into the basement to height the gravimeters was also undertaken.
