This survey, undertaken with a B-BBEE Level 1 certificate, involved surveying the existing Klippan pump station and surrounding area, surveying the canal and staking out the pipeline route. RGC established the datum, coordinated and installed bench marks along the route, compiled a cadastral layout of a strip 100 m wide along the pipeline and canal routes, staked the pipeline and, naturally, carried out topographical surveys of the areas of the pump station, pipeline and canal routes.

This task was exacerbated by both the pan and canal being polluted by untreated sewage and other open waste.  Our commitment to sustainable development and environmental cleanliness and conformity allowed us to be part of a strong team of both engineers and environmentalists on this beneficial project for the community.
